  1. Be Respectful & Polite
    Diplomacy goes a long way - if you disagree with someone's opinion, approach or aesthetic choices, frame it constructively. If something's not your taste, either offer helpful feedback or move on
  2. No Hate Speech
    Offensive language, racism, homophobia, ... are prohibited and will get you banned
  3. Know Your Audience
    Don't tease people that don't like it or you don't know well enough yet
  4. Respect Serious Topics
    Don't make light of sexual assault, abuse, ...
  5. Keep Content Appropriate
    Wildly inappropriate builds, skins, and content are not allowed
  6. Moderate Language
    Some swearing is okay, but keep it reasonable
  7. Use English
    Chat primarily in English, with occasional native language acceptable
  8. Respect Pronouns
    Always use people's correct pronouns. You can view someone's pronouns by hovering over their username in-game chat.
  9. Thoughtful Pranking
    Do not prank brand new players. Give them a tour instead.
  10. Be Patient With Staff
    Skerit and the Staff members do this in their free time. They will handle problems as their time allows
  11. Do Not Act Entitled
    Stuff might break, bugs might pop up, we'll fix it when we can
  12. Be Chill
    Keep things relaxed and don't be annoying

Economy

  1. Use Official Shop Chests
    All shops have to use shop chests, which you can get from the NPC at spawn.
  2. Size Matters By Location
    Shops close to the center have to be built small. Bigger shops should be built on the edge of the SD. Do not completely block someone else’s build.
  3. No Farms in Shopping District
    Keep the SD commercial only - farms belong elsewhere
  4. Do not make paths willy nilly
    Path construction needs planning and consideration for the district layout
  5. Ground Access Required
    All shops must be accessible without elytra
  6. Build It or Lose It
    Complete new SD buildings within days, not weeks
  7. Keep It Classy
    No advertisements: maintain the Shopping District's aesthetic standards
  8. Minimize Lag Sources
    Keep entities (animals/item frames/armor stands/...) to a minimum

Gameplay

  1. Handle Your Own Sleep
    Don't constantly ask others to sleep - bring a bed or drink coffee for phantoms
  2. Don't Demand Death Run Help
    Others aren't obligated to help retrieve your items. Ask nicely or handle it yourself.
  3. Respect Others' Builds
    Never ask to dismantle someone's build for parts, it's incredibly rude!
  4. Mark Your Territory
    Use base markers to clearly mark your builds. These will also be visible on the live map.
  5. Build in Designated Areas
    No bases in Spawn, Shopping, or Minigame Districts
  6. DIY Bedrock Breaking
    You can break bedrock and build on the nether roof. Don't ask staff to do it for you.
  7. Keep Shopping District Original
    Litematica is allowed, but Shopping District builds shouldn't be downloaded schematics
  8. Fix Your Mistakes
    If you blow something up, repair it or at least report it on Discord
  9. No Griefing or Stealing
    Just because you can doesn't mean you should. And we can always check.
  10. No Cheating
    Hacking and exploit abuse are prohibited
  11. TNT Duping Restrictions
    TNT duping is only allowed for perimeters, not for farms!
  12. Don't Copy Server Builds
    Do not copy other players builds without explicit permission from them, this is considered stealing.
  13. Shop Chests Are For Shopping
    Don't use them as personal storage. Shop chests are also part of a lottery, so the contents might get sold.
