Feature Changes

elytra emoji Elytra

Elytra are now both dyeable and trimmable, meaning you can have a crazy amount of style with your wings.

Cardboard boxes are now dyeable! You'll be able to add a stripe of color to your boxes to help discern them better. (Suggestion from ⁠unknown)

🌟 Gloncrete

Gloncrete now uses the vanilla emmision feature, meaning mods like Iris and Sodium should now have no trouble making them glow (assuming the makers of your shaders accounted for this.)

🌎 Chunkloader

The chunkloader block has a number of improvements:

  • New texture, by Jaded, which can show you at a glance if it's running or not
  • No longer hard powered, now you can hopper in diamonds
  • Will no longer show as 'active' while chunks are not selected

🪑 Seating

With the new wood type we've introduced a new chair and bench, and we held a contest for it! The one you see ingame is @Jaded's 'Split' design. We have also finally introduced a new type of chair: stools! These look like if a bed was cut in half and come in 16 colors. You can craft it by making a bed but only 2 wide instead of 3.

🧠 Smooth Polished Blocks

6 new blocks have been added which are smooth versions of polished andesite, diorite, granite, blackstone, tuff, and deepslate. They look like the regular blocks, but borderless. You can craft them by smelting the polished blocks.

Other Small things

  • Trophies are now equippable on head
  • Beheading drop rates have been adjusted for some mobs (blaze, breeze, rabbit, magma cube, slime, enderman, silverfish) to not be quite as overwhelming
  • Popsicles now stack to 64 instead of 16 (Suggestion from ⁠unknown)
  • The creaking mob now has 2 mobheads: one for when it's hunting you (eyes glowing) and one for when it isn't (eyes not glowing). You can behead the creaking by breaking its heart with a beheading tool.
  • Beheading is no longer compatible with silk touch or fortune.
  • You can now dry coffee blocks in every state, not just the normal state
  • I (Jaded) had to completely reimplement diamond rails, so you may notice some small differences with things that depend on them, as well as some unintended behavior.

Fixes

  • Speed boost blocks will now always send you in the direction the block is pointed
  • Youthful ambrosia will now properly spawn particles
